Privacy Policy.

Who we are.

Domino is an AI-powered personal styling service operated by Jessi Woodland, an individual doing business as Domino, based in Virginia, United States. You can reach us at dominostylist@gmail.com.

When this policy says "Domino," "we," "us," or "our," it means Jessi Woodland d/b/a Domino. When it says "you" or "your," it means you — the person using the app.

What we collect.

We only collect what we need to make Domino work well for you. Here's the full list:

• Account information — your email address and encrypted password when you create an account.
• Style profile — information you share during onboarding or in Settings: name, gender expression, pronouns, age range, shopping preferences, budget, style vibe, coloring, sizing notes, and any additional context you choose to provide. This is entirely voluntary.
• Conversation history — for paid subscribers, your styling conversations are saved so Domino can remember you across sessions. Free users' conversations are not stored.
• Wardrobe items — descriptions and images you upload through Closet Cleanout or your wardrobe, if you choose to use those features.
• Saved Looks — outfits you choose to save for future reference.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe processes and stores all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
• Usage data — basic technical information like your browser type, device type, and how you interact with the app. We may use analytics tools to understand how people use Domino and improve the experience. Any analytics tools we use are selected for their privacy practices.

How we use your data.

We use your data to do one thing: make Domino useful for you. Specifically:

• To power your personalized styling experience — your profile is what makes Domino feel like it knows you.
• To save your conversations, looks, and wardrobe items so they're there when you come back (paid subscribers).
• To process your subscription payment through Stripe.
• To send transactional emails — account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
• To understand how the app is being used so we can improve it.
• To comply with legal obligations if required.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your style profile or conversations to train AI models for third parties.

Domino's AI & Anthropic.

Domino is powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you have a conversation with Domino, your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. This means Anthropic processes your conversation data as a data processor on our behalf.

Anthropic's API usage policies prohibit using API data to train their models without explicit consent. Your conversations with Domino are not used to train Anthropic's models. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/privacy.

We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information — financial account numbers, government ID numbers, medical records — in your styling conversations. Domino doesn't need that information to style you well.

Where your data lives.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider, and is hosted on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security certification available.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your data — conversations, style profile, wardrobe items, saved looks — is permanently deleted. There is no recovery after deletion.

Your rights.

You are in control of your data. At any time, you can:

• Access your data — your style profile and settings are always visible and editable in your Settings page.
• Update your data — edit your style profile, name, email, or password at any time in Settings.
• Delete your data — use the "Delete Account" option in Settings to permanently erase everything. This cannot be undone.
• Request your data — contact us at dominostylist@gmail.com to request a copy of or information about the data we hold about you.
• Cancel your subscription — cancel anytime from Settings. You keep access until the end of your billing period.

If you are located in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. We honor those rights regardless of where you're located. Contact us to exercise them.

Cookies & tracking.

Domino uses cookies and similar technologies only for essential app functionality — keeping you logged in, maintaining your session, and remembering your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent.

Kids & privacy.

Domino is open to users of all ages. However, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are under 13, please do not create an account or submit personal information.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us at dominostylist@gmail.com.

When this policy changes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app. Continuing to use Domino after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
