Privacy Policy.

Who we are.

Domino is an AI-powered personal styling service operated by Jessi Woodland, an individual doing business as Domino, based in Virginia, United States. You can reach us at hello@justdomino.com.

When this policy says "Domino," "we," "us," or "our," it means Jessi Woodland d/b/a Domino. When it says "you" or "your," it means you — the person using the app.

What we collect.

We only collect what we need to make Domino work well for you. Here's the full list:

• Account information — your email address and encrypted password when you create an account.
• Style profile — information you share during onboarding or in Settings: name, what brings you to Domino, gender expression, pronouns, age range, shopping preferences, budget, style vibe, sizes, coloring, sizing notes, and any additional context you choose to provide. If you choose to, this can also include drag details (drag name, character, what you already own), the gender-affirming pieces you'd like help with, and whether you'd like Domino to keep things low-key. This is entirely voluntary — skip anything you like.
• Age confirmation — whether you've confirmed you are 13 or older, and, if you choose to confirm it in the chat, that you are 18 or older. We use this only to decide which product links Domino can show you.
• Conversation history — if you have an account (free or Pro), your styling conversations are saved so you can return to them and Domino can remember you across sessions. You can delete any chat, or your whole account, anytime. Guest conversations (no account) are not stored.
• Wardrobe items — descriptions and images you upload through Closet Cleanout or your wardrobe, if you choose to use those features.
• Outfit plans (Pro) — the outfits Domino plans from your closet, your city for the weather forecast, and which pieces you mark as worn, so you can look back at past outfits.
• Calendar (Pro, optional) — if you connect a calendar, Domino reads its private link on our server to find the next 30 days of events worth dressing for, like an interview or a wedding. It uses lists of keywords and, when a title is unclear, an AI check of the event's title only (never its description, location, or guests), processed by Anthropic as described above. Domino keeps a one-way fingerprint of events it has already passed on, so it doesn't check them again; it can't be turned back into the title. Only those events (title, date, and time) are saved, and only after you approve them; everything else on your calendar is ignored and never stored. Disconnect anytime from your dashboard, which also deletes the saved link.
• Google Calendar (Pro, optional) — if you connect with Google, Domino gets read-only access to the titles and times of your upcoming events, used only as described above and never to change your calendar. Disconnecting removes Domino's access at Google too. Domino's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It is never used for advertising, sold, or used to train AI models.
• Previews (Pro) — when you tap "Preview it", the store's own product photo of that piece and the change you typed (like "cropped at the waist") are sent to Google's Gemini API to make the preview image, which is then checked by Anthropic's AI to make sure it shows clothing only. Your own photos and profile are never sent. Previews aren't saved; the image disappears when you close it.
• Error reports — when something breaks, technical details about the error (which page or feature, the error message, browser type) are sent to Sentry so we can fix it. Error reports don't include your name, email, messages, photos, or cookies.
• Saved pieces and brand preferences — pieces you save from chats, and brands or pieces you mark as loved or not for you, so Domino can learn your taste.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe processes and stores all payment data under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
• Usage data — basic technical information like your browser type, device type, and how you interact with the app. We may use analytics tools to understand how people use Domino and improve the experience. Any analytics tools we use are selected for their privacy practices.

How we use your data.

We use your data to do one thing: make Domino useful for you. Specifically:

• To power your personalized styling experience — your profile is what makes Domino feel like it knows you.
• To save your conversations, looks, and wardrobe items so they're there when you come back (paid subscribers).
• To process your subscription payment through Stripe.
• To send transactional emails — account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
• To understand how the app is being used so we can improve it.
• To comply with legal obligations if required.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your style profile or conversations to train AI models for third parties.

Domino's AI & Anthropic.

Domino is powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you have a conversation with Domino, your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. This means Anthropic processes your conversation data as a data processor on our behalf.

Anthropic's API usage policies prohibit using API data to train their models without explicit consent. Your conversations with Domino are not used to train Anthropic's models. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/privacy.

We recommend not sharing sensitive personal information — financial account numbers, government ID numbers, medical records — in your styling conversations. Domino doesn't need that information to style you well.

Gender and identity information is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Your gender expression, pronouns, and any gender-affirming or drag details you share are used only to style you. We never sell them, never share them with advertisers, and never use them to target you. You can change or delete them anytime in Settings, or delete your whole account.

Where your data lives.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider, and is hosted on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security certification available.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your data — conversations, style profile, wardrobe items, saved looks — is permanently deleted. There is no recovery after deletion.

Your rights.

You are in control of your data. At any time, you can:

• Access your data — your style profile and settings are always visible and editable in your Settings page.
• Update your data — edit your style profile, name, email, or password at any time in Settings.
• Delete your data — use the "Delete Account" option in Settings to permanently erase everything. This cannot be undone.
• Request your data — contact us at privacy@justdomino.com to request a copy of or information about the data we hold about you.
• Cancel your subscription — cancel anytime from Settings. You keep access until the end of your billing period.

If you are located in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. We honor those rights regardless of where you're located. Contact us to exercise them.

Cookies & tracking.

Domino uses cookies and similar technologies only for essential app functionality — keeping you logged in, maintaining your session, and remembering your preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent.

Kids & privacy.

Domino is for people aged 13 and older. In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use Domino, create an account, or submit personal information.

If you are 13–17, we collect only what you choose to share, use it only to style you, and never sell it. Domino won't show you shopping links for body pieces such as binders or packers (see our Terms of Service), and a parent or guardian should review our Terms and this policy with you.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us at privacy@justdomino.com.

If someone tells Domino in a chat that they are under 13, Domino ends the chat, and their account and everything it saved are deleted automatically, including photos. Nothing from that chat is kept. To stop the same email from signing up again for 18 months, we keep only a scrambled fingerprint of it (a one-way hash), never the address itself.

Safety checks. Closet photos are checked automatically before they're saved, and photos showing nudity, sexual content, or children aren't stored. When Domino warns or closes an account under our community rules (see the Terms), we keep a record of what happened and when, with nothing that identifies the person.

When this policy changes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app. Continuing to use Domino after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
